The Board of Education of the Scarsdale Union Free School District will hold the following meetings in Room 170-172 at Scarsdale High School, 2 Brewster Road, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
At 9:00 a.m., the Board will convene its annual Organizational Meeting, at which it will elect officers and attend to annual appointments, designations, and authorizations.
Immediately following the Organizational Meeting, the Board will convene a Public Hearing on the Code of Conduct.
Immediately following the Public Hearing, the Board will convene a Business Meeting. Highlights of the Business Meeting agenda include:
A Consent Agenda; Cabinet Updates; Information and Discussion items, including the District Treasurer’s Report & Schedule of Investments, budget transfers, proposed new textbooks, the second reading of draft Regulation 5285 - Concussion Management Program, the first reading of Policy 6670 - Petty Cash/Petty Cash Accounts, Regulation 2160-R - School District Ethics Regulation, Policy 7335 - Change Order Policy, the draft Guidelines for Student Expression at School-Sponsored Activities, preliminary discussions regarding the Board’s goals, the Superintendent’s evaluation template, summer work for Board members, and gift procedures, the health insurance reserve increase and the appropriation from the health care reserve, a review of Appendix #7 of the draft 2026-27 District-wide Safety and Emergency Plan, Memorandums of Agreement with the CSEA Transportation Unit and the Scarsdale Association of Educational Secretaries (SAES), and gift proposals over $1,000; and Action items including budget transfers, the adoption of Regulation 5285 - Concussion Management Program, the 2026-27 tax levy, the 2026 Capital Projects Bond resolution, the health insurance reserve increase and appropriation from the health care reserve, Memorandums of Agreement with the CSEA Transportation Unit and SAES, and a gift proposal to the High School.
It is anticipated that the Board will adjourn the Business Meeting into an Executive Session to discuss matters related to collective bargaining and contract negotiations.
