Thank You for a Successful Opening!

We are grateful to our students, families, faculty, and staff for making this week a success! We also want to thank the Scarsdale Police Department for their partnership, presence, and support this week, especially at Scarsdale Middle School.

We were thrilled to deploy our first few electric buses this week, and want to express appreciation to our transportation team and all of our bus drivers for their hard work and dedication.

We wish everyone a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!

SBNC Seeks Members

The Scarsdale School Board Nominating Committee (SBNC), Scarsdale's non-partisan organization that identifies and endorses candidates for the Scarsdale Board of Ed, is inviting residents to become part of a long-standing community tradition that helps shape the future of our schools. Elected Members serve three years on the SBNC, followed by two years on the Administrative Committee. One seat is open in Edgewood; one in Fox Meadow; one in Quaker Ridge; and three in Greenacres.

Visit https://scarsdalesbnc.org/join-sbnc-2/ and complete the three simple steps by October 23, 2026.

Wait to Gate Campaign Returns

With the school year starting and fall athletic competitions set to begin, Scarsdale Action for Youth is again promoting the Wait to Gate campaigna simple community movement to keep high school athletics alcohol free. The goal is not to judge adult choices, but to create a clear and consistent environment around our students. The Scarsdale School District and Scarsdale Action for Youth (SAY) would like to remind parents that alcohol should not be distributed or consumed during sporting events at our schools. Let’s keep the focus on our children and their efforts on the field!
