The essential work of the Scarsdale Public Schools is to provide a world class education, ensuring our students are well prepared for their next level of education. We understand that to accomplish this, we must create an environment of belonging where student wellbeing is a key focus, and students have opportunities to flourish both inside and outside the classroom environment. Thus, we hold as a core value the concept of educating the whole child. These broad objectives serve as an important decision making lens, especially with respect to our budget. Ultimately, the budget is a means to an end, supporting the work required to meet the needs of our learners. The proposed 2025-26 budget outlines how we plan to fund the program, services, and people who make a Scarsdale education come to life for our students.
