Greenacres Neighborhood Association

WHAT IS THE GREENACRES NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION?
The Greenacres Neighborhood Association (GNA) has been active for 100 years, "to enhance the sense of community within Greenacres, and to encourage our neighbors to work together for the betterment of the community as a whole."    Its sole source of funding is derived form the generous support of the Greenacres neighborhood.  Join us as we continue to serve the community by sponsoring the K-8 Recreation League Sports program, beautifying our traffic islands, informing the Village and School district about our issues and concerns and sponsoring community get-togethers such as The Spring Fling, our Town Meeting and our good old fashioned 4th of July Celebration.

SPORTS FEES REQUIRED FOR CHILDREN IN GRADES K-8 ON RECREATION LEAGUE SPORTS
Please remember that the Greenacres Association and its Sports Program are separate from the Greenacres School PTA.  Sports fees are compulsory for families with children in Grades K-8 playing one or more Recreation League Sports.  The Greenacres Neighborhood Association sponsors most Recreation League Sports Programs - soccer, basketball,  and softballl.  If your child is on a team, there is a required sports fee.  This fee partially covers equipment needs, awards and trophies.  There is an additional fee for basketball that is used strictly to cover the charges we receive from the school district for the gym rental and the custodial support. The basketball fee will be collected when basketball season begins.
