Criteria:
Meet with your mentor and sponsor to be sure you understand all criteria.
These are the standards by which your proposal will be approved and
your project passed.
• Directions are correctly followed.
• There is evidence that you will do at least what is required
of you.
• The project is serious and appropriate.
• There is a clear rationale as to why you want to pursue this
project.
• There is a clear rationale as to why you have chosen an Internship
or Independent Study or combination.
• There are clear goals and objectives, both personal and content
oriented.
• There is a clear explanation of how the project achieves those
goals.
• There is a clearly stated viable essential question.
• There is evidence of real thought and planning.
• There is clear and detailed evidence of how you will spend your
time.
• There is evidence of materials or items necessary to complete
the project.
• There is evidence of sponsor’s role and assistance in
the proposal plan.
• There is evidence of the relationship between the sponsor and
the mentee.
• There is evidence of adequate supervision by the sponsor.
