FIND YOUR INTEREST

BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE:

Think of this as a time of OPPORTUNITY, not convenience.

Use your mentor as much as possible to help you find your interests.

Communicate with your mentor often to discuss and decide areas of interest, personal goals and objectives or types of projects you would like to explore.

Come up with a few good possibilities from which to select.

What are your passions? Hobbies never fully indulged?

Can I use this time to explore future career plans?

Is this a real chance to do that community service I have always thought about doing?

Begin to think about what ESSENTIAL QUESTION you will use to steer you exploration.

The ESSENTIAL QUESTION is the CORE of your Senior Experience.
It is the driving question you seek to answer through your experience.
Proof of that investigation will be measured in your journal,
weekly mentor meetings, and presentation.
