Circle of Friends:

I have begun my Circle of Friends lessons in the kindergarten and first grade classes. So far, we have focused on what it means to be a good friend as well as how to maintain and respect one's personal space. I will also incorporate self-esteem building activities into these lessons.

It has been a wonderful start to my second year as the psychologist at Quaker Ridge. What a pleasure it is to know so many of the students by name and to recognize their various family members. My personal goal is to learn the names and faces of all of our students by the end of the school year. I will certainly do my best to achieve this!
