The Heathcote After School Clubs Program ("ASC") is designed, administered, and funded by the Heathcote PTA. Our goal is to provide exciting and educational experiences for Heathcote children in a familiar environment after the school day. A variety of clubs are offered each semester (Fall and Spring) and are taught by talented paid professionals; some club instructors are familiar members of our Scarsdale community, and others come from local educational and arts organizations.

ASC is not affiliated with the Scarsdale School District proper, and so any special services and accommodations provided by the District during regular instructional hours are not available during after-school programming.

The Heathcote PTA After School Club Committee sets policies and designs the program each semester. We do our best to provide wide range of activities that will appeal to girls and boys, younger and older, and include a variety of interests: athletics, crafts, performance arts, science, and more. Our primary goal is to provide safe and fun activities for children and we do our best to accommodate families' requests when possible. The ASC Committee includes officers and members of the Heathcote PTA and a coordinator.

ASC includes club monitors who are in the school building to facilitate club attendance and dismissal and help to supervise children during club hours. We are fortunate that our club monitors also work at Heathcote during the school day and so are familiar faces to many of our Heathcote students, families, and care-givers. Our club monitors are:

               Andrea Vellucci
               Jean Lantz
               Janine Torres

If you have any questions or concerns regarding ASC, please contact Allison Meltz, ASC Vice President.
